This is a great way to improve your basic blackjack skills. I love the ask the dealer option, its really helpful to reinforce what to do on those little doesnt happen often situations. Great fun.
This is the only app you need to practice and sharpen your skill (strategy). Great for someone getting into the game
Set your own rules etc. counting trainer. Those who complain about ads, stop being cheap. Support the developer.
This game is the best blackjack on iTunes. Hands down. (Pun intended) No one else comes close. It uses the blackjack cheat sheet rules developed by MIT. Its a great way to learn to play by the real rules or just log in to play for fun.
Download it, it wont disappoint!
A word to the naysayers. As a top ranked player its about consistency playing by the rules. You win some, you lose some. Dont let the comments about bad programming discourage you. Its not true. If they were correct, then no one could score in the billion dollar range. Study the rules if you want to win BIG. Otherwise just enjoy the game play.
Bottom line: Played them all. This is the best.
Gameplay, graphics, smooth, responsive, quick to start, easy to read and understand, lots of options, etc.
The only thing that would make it better would be to add multi-hand option! A feature I would gladly pay for!
Ive been playing this game for over two years off and on. Its a great game for practicing basic strategy. Wish it had the option to play more than one hand and an indicator that the hand you just played followed basic strategy. One can learn a lot about the discipline it takes to be a good blackjack player with this app.
Some bad moments
App is infinite crashing when switching Game Center accounts.
Steps:
1. Be logged into account "X"
2. Play some
3. Go to phone settings - Game Center - log in with different Game Center account
4. Go back to the blackjack app
5. Go back to phone settings
6. Do phone settings - Game Center - log in with different Game Center account
7. Open blackjack app
Infinite crash.
Other feedback:
1. It doesnt save your status based on game center account. When I logged in with the second account it still showed my old accounts amount
2. No ability to select "even money" when you get a blackjack and the dealer shows an ace
Have been using this app for years. They just added full screen ads that are displayed frequently while you play. This was a stupid move. Deleting this app.
I paid for this app because I wanted to play the ad free version. With the latest update, the ads are incredibly intrusive. Its always had a small banner at the bottom, but now they pop up whole screen in the middle of game play. Poor move!
This used to be one of my all-time time favorite games on the iPhone... until this update. Now, you cant get through a single shoe without an ad popping up, filling the screen. Plus, you are now treated to a banner ad on the bottom at all times. Sadly, this has been deleted after many years of enjoyment.
In what casino would you have to pay to go to higher limit table, this app used to allow you to change tables now you have to purchase higher limit tables. GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY! I didnt purchase this years ago to have an update take away most of the features and then have to purchase them. Also, money just disappears from your winnings; I watched as $4k, $50k, & $80k just vanished from my total. This a dishonest and rigged game. This company can go F**K themselves!
Used to be fantastic practice, you could set your own rule sets, bet limits, etc. Still good game play but theres ads that pop up in your face after almost every hand that are designed to make you have to click them accidentally. If this wasnt there I would have rated this app with 5 stars.
